RMCS HEADS NORTH FOR BIG IDAHO 200 WEEKEND

For the third year in a row the Boise based CarbonX Rocky Mountain Challenge Series will travel to Northern Idaho for the annual Idaho 200 race weekend staged at the fast and tricky quarter-mile oval of Stateline Stadium Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho. The 100-lap Napa Auto Parts Duel for the 200 is round seven of the ten race championship series with title implications on the line for series regulars.

RIP WILLIAMS RETURNS TO ACTION AT PAS

The “Old Dog” has broken the chain, jumped off the porch and is ready to get back into the fight. For the first time in 2010, one of the most famous drivers in the history of West Coast Sprint Car racing, Rip Williams, plans to be in action when the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars Series returns to Perris Auto Speedway, this Saturday night, July 31st. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will be at 7:00.

OVAL MOTORSPORTS ANNOUNCES WEST COAST NATIONALS

Two quarter-mile high-banked dirt speedways. Two consecutive nights of racing. Two 50-lap features for modified stock cars paying $3,500 to win. It’s the “First Annual West Coast Nationals,” which will be held at central California’s Antioch and Merced Speedways August 28 and 29, 2010.

SEASON WINDING DOWN AS THE AABLM RETURNS TO RAR

Only five races remain in the 2010 season at Eureka, California’s Redwood Acres Raceway. After seven events the true contenders for the track championships in the five divisions have become clear. Besides the points races drawing to a close, the final five events are all special events with the AABLM touring series making its second of two schedule points visits this weekend followed by Back-To-School Night on August 7th, Fan Appreciation Night on August 28th, the September 11th Memorial Race and the September 25th Fall Spectacular which the AABLM will be returning for a non-points, all-money event.

GEVING ADVANCES INTO GOLDEN STATE CHALLENGE TOP-5
