ALEX HAASE HAD STRONG RUN UNTIL MISHAP
NASCAR TOYOTA ALL STAR SHOWDOWN
Alex came home to compete in the Toyota Showdown in his family owned super late model. He had a great car right out of the trailer and was fastest in the Thursday night practice session. He qualified 2nd fastest with a 17-941 which put him on the outside pole. He was just biding his time as there were a lot of cautions throughout the race. He was able to lead a few laps, and on one of the restarts he had an issue with his shift and that put him back a few spots. He was running 3rd at the time that he was involved in an incident with the 4th place car that put him into the wall and ended both their nights..: Full Story

Heading into the 2010 season, 20-time World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser said that he felt better than he had in two or three years, after having off-season surgery to fix a bulging disc in his neck. He started the season off very strong and was in contention for wins in each of the first three races of the 39th Annual Florida DIRTcar Nationals by University of Northwestern Ohio at Volusia Speedway. Leighton Motorsports driver Colby Crapo from St. Anthony, Idaho finally got the proverbial monkey off his back by scoring his first podium finish of the season with a second place effort in the ISOC AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series Eastern National Semi-Pro Super Stock #1 main event.
The event from Farmington, NY is the first of three consecutive weekends of racing for the national tour and for Crapo the event is pivotal for his championship hopes.
