DANIELS TO COMPETE IN ASA SOUTH AFRICA RACE

She is only 24-years-old and couldn't pass up the opportunity of a lifetime to compete overseas. Tiffany Daniels, or Tiff as she goes by, will join fellow female driver Toni McCray and compete in the American Speed Association Transcontinental Series FreeState 500 on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Phakisa Freeway Circuit oval in Welkom, Free State South Africa.

NATIONWIDE SERIES FINALE

The NASCAR Nationwide Series will close their 2009 season Saturday with the running of the Ford 300 at the Homestead Miami Speedway. Who's going to be the new series champion is a no brainer. However, one of the more interesting issues pending resolution is who's going to finish fifth in the final championship standings based on a very important reason. It's also going to be interesting to see if we get treated to another episode of the NASCAR soap opera "As The Wheel Turns" starring two drivers who simply can't get along with each other.

IRWINDALE ANNOUNCES 2010 SPEC ENGINE FOR SLM

Toyota Speedway at Irwindale officials announced today the implementation of a spec racing engine program for its NASCAR Whelen All-American sanctioned ACDelco Super Late Model division. The GM CT525 LS3 Circle Track crate engine has been approved for use for all 2010 Super Late Model races at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale including the Super Late Model race run as part of the January 29-30 NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown.
