Or should I say Cope twins have been made big. Hum, Maxim Magazine photo shoot, guess it beats racing for a living.

Maybe they should have have got all those moles removed at the same time they got the implants.

I gotta get the "Moles" out of my yard , their "in my Plants" !!!! , at least my yard isnt "flat" anymore and it gets a lotta attention from my naibors.

I respect the racing side of what the Cope twins are trying to do , and i kinda understand the "getting the glamor industry" behind them , but you have to admit they bring on the "are they fasion models or race car drivers ? coments themselves.
I really hope at least one of them make it in racing , but watching all the youtube videos you can understand why people are saying these things and the racing comunity has not excepted them yet. Pete...wishing them well...Moss |

LOL My daughters aren't in Maxum. Also, you don't do that type of publicity without realizing what's going to come of it. They made that choice. Thats fine. It may turn out to be a good choice for them. But,,,,, you have to expect the fallout. It's a mens mag made for men to read. (Or look at) It's not Cosmo to show off their fashion sence.
You don't look at the pics they took and say that those tires on the car look good. You don't say I like the car number. You don't say I wish those two girls would get out of the way so I can see the car better. You say Car? What car??? That's the whole idea about the photo shoot. That was their choice and again, that's fine. AND,, I'll stick with my first comment. They have talent. LOL BB46 |

I'm with you. I've spoken to them personally a few times. I wouldn't call them "friends", but they are more than just "acquaintances". I don't think they deserve any of this. Let's face it, we'd all kill to be where they are.  |

I understand your points guys, but with that said even if your daughters or "son" was in in the magazine, I would never speak of them the way that has been done on this thread out of respect to you as a father, friend and racer. I just think it is dis-respectful.

Did anyone watch the video I linked too? You can't tell me that this is not the reaction they are looking for. They are as close to nude as you can get. Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction showed less. More power to them if the Paris Hilton angle works for them and they become stars.

And I think everybody still thinks these girls are still 15 years old. I just looked it up and they are pushing 30! They turned 28 last fall.

I watched the utube link. How do you think I concluded they had such talent?? LOL
I'm not against them in any way. I wish them the best. I am just saying they chose to do what they did. I didn't push them into it so I could oooogle awhile. LOL I hope they get what they want out of it. I'm guessing $$$$$$. BB46 |

For crying out loud guys, those of you making statement that we are wrong about making comments concerning the twins physical looks, get real. Not a one of you can't honestly say that you haven't seen a girl in public, in a magazine or in a movie and haven't made the same comments we have. That would make you flat out hypocrites. As others have stated, when you 'enhance' your body, do the type of promotions they do, appear in a magazine like Maxim, you knowingly open yourself up for this. This PC bulls**t has gone way too far. If this was being spouted off in the workplace, might be a problem, but that isn't the case! Don't like it, don't look at it of read comments about it. |

BTW, Danica Patrick pretty much did the same thing, although she had enjoyed some success already before doing so.
At the start of the career, she was asked if she would do any sexy photo shoots, or anything like that because of being an attractive female. She straight out answered no. Years afterwards, she decided to go that way and I bet she doesn't regret the decision one bit. And I am sure she knew comments would be made all over, but guess what, I'm pretty sure that didn't upset her. She is an adult, made a adult decision and is living with it. Quite nicely it would seem too. The Cope girls also made an adult decision and will live with it. It will bring them notoriety and possibly sponsorship monies in the future. And if not, they may have (it would appear already have) opened doors to other careers. Maybe those that protest so much are a bit jealous? Just saying. |

Damm it Scott...I have been hopeing my whole life to become a swimsuit model , Then these two "Cope Twins"(in a funny voice)come along and steal my thunder , Just because they are tallented , Pretty , drive a race car and are girls , Maxim picked THEM over ME...how is that fare ?????

I did a photo shoot the same way, more power to them !!! didn't work out to good for me though! Everyone that saw it got pissed off. I even sent it to Westwind and Pete rejected it.... Damn ,just can't get a ride in racing anymore the old fashioned way!!!
