To clarify Larry Bertrand is in no way involved with SCR this season. He is also no longer involved with fastkart. Reesen Tarr is working with fastkart, because they have a great meeting room we felt this would now be a good place to meet. For the safety of our drivers we will be using racecievers this season. Hope to see everyone there!

You can get one channel on your radios programmed to whichever frequency that the track is using for the raceivers at your local communications shop for about 10 bucks and I would assume it would be the same as a raceiver as long as you can listen to the tracks safety guy, you would just have to remove your push to talk button as you would be talking to all of the cars.

I had not thought of using a standard radio as a one way radio. But I like Ron's answer so let's go with yes.

Raceiver Ace...$110.00 and you can have your two way radios PLUS listen to track communication as well. I used them last summer...worked great.

This is a class that doesn't allow two way communication so there would be no need for both.
