Yakima Speedway Incentive Program, Fall Classic Qualifier

Affective Immediately, Yakima Speedway is introducing a new incentive program for the Super Late Model, Sportsman and the West Coast Street Stock Series (July 7th race) drivers.

Any driver to win a main event will receive a provisional starting position in the Fall Classic main event for their class.

Any driver that competes in all scheduled races (from this date forward) at Yakima Speedway will receive a provisional starting position in the Fall Classic for their class.

Any driver that wins “3 in a row” in their class at a Yakima Speedways weekly racing main event will be granted the 3rd starting position in their class’ Fall Classic Main Event.

Class affiliation:
Sportsman = Fall Classic Hobby Stocks
WCSSS = Fall Classic Street Stock
Super Late Model = Fall Classic Super Late Model

Notes:

* Previous 2012 Sportsman wins will be counted towards FC qualifying program.

* Provisional starting awards go with the driver only, not the car or car owner.

* Driver must attempt to qualify by time, “Qualifying Heat” race or “Last Chance” race (which ever applies) before provisional is granted.

*If there is more than one “3 in a row” winner in the Sportsman division, the first to accomplish will be granted the 3rd starting position and the next will be granted the 4th starting position in the Fall Classic Hobby Stock main event.

* Provisional starting positions will be set by the order of the date of main event wins first, then by qualifying times for those using a provisional for participation in all weekly races.

Thank you,
Ken Olson

Anyone else confused on how this is worded? Does that mean that if some the cars that dosen't win, or compete full time at the speedway, and they either Qualify in or race their way in they aren't guaranteed a spot because of the provisionals, or are you gonna add them to the back of the pack?

Provisional starting positions are always at the rear after those that qualify on time. Only exception is the 3 in a row provision.
