Todd Walters. I think Knutson got 2nd & Ricky Allen 3rd

So there were 3 cars then?

5 cars really sad it was free to run your latemodel crew and everything just show up and race for 500 dollars for 25 laps. no new tires. knutson got 2 ricky allen 3 steve floyd then jason ogle. It was not a points race for the big 5 there next points race is june 23 for the big five 100 laps

That is sad. No stickers allowed? I dont know of any other event that would draw cars away..I guess no one wanted to run for free for 500. Thats kinda messed. I doubt anyone went to monroe..

Nope, No one showed up at monroe. I didn't see any of these racers there. Bummer

Hmm... I never heard that entry was free for crew and driver and $5 front gate. I might have come over for that. Maybe some better advertising needs to take place? I don't know, just saying.

yeah they need to keep that $5.00 gate fee every week so everybody figures out it is a great value

and yes promoting of this race and the $5.00 front gate was weak at best

Me too.

You know....The manager at Yakima makes phone calls to racers in an attempt to get cars. I spoke with him last week.
RW should not be the only way to get the word out, some times computer troubles happen.

That was kind of my point Rusty, you hit it right on the head.

I know that this is the premier racing news site for all of us around this area. but there are other methods that could be used, even other computer methods. And they are free too. There's Facebook, there's Twitter, there's even other sites out there (not that I use them much). Then there are magazines like Late Model Digest or Late Model Racer that will run stuff for free if you send in something worth printing. There are a host of options if you just work a bit. Not to mention that thing called a phone. I get calls all the time from Evergreen to see if we are running the upcoming races, every track should be doing that. Then they should be using that information to promote THIER event better.

I'm not slamming on any track in particular here. Just pointing out that IF you are willing to work a bit, there are always methods out there. And the end result is, relying on a single method is a recipe for disaster. In this era of Facebook Timelines, instant news feeds and so on, we need to employ every option we have accesss to.

supposedly michelle is back and training shannon evans to take over. well see.. Someone please pull the track out of the slump its in.
