155 laps. 5/8 mile track. 96.875 miles covered in 5 hours.

That equates to an average of 19.3mph.

But if it is a 3/4 like they are now considering it to be that would be 116.25 miles for an average of 23.3mph. I know it is not much and still slow.

Just saying.

Next year can only be better in more ways than one.

Lol what race were you watching? There are way to many 00 fans here.

19 got under 00 and 00 just cut down going into turn 1.

But if blaming it on the 19 makes you feel better, keep doing so.

What race were YOU watching, JMS?! Lang did not cut down on the 19! Don't know how you can say Lang cut down on him when the 19 barely had his nose in there! The 19 may have had a chance if that idiot official hadn't sent Jessica out in front of the leaders as they were coming for the white flag, but it happened. And when it happened the 19 should have lifted, instead he not only wrecked Lang but he wrecked himself as well.

Terrible ending to a terrible race. Bad calls all day long. They should have run the Street Stocks, Pro 4's and Pro 4 trucks last night and moved the Showdown to today. They would have been able to get in the full 200 laps and things might have ended very differently.

I hope HRP learns from this and makes appropriate changes next year, because that would be the only good to come from this fiasco of a race!

19 could've lifted.
00 could've left room.
$11,000 on the line. Neither of them backed down.

"One of them racing deals".

I'm pretty sure if you reverse roles and put the 00 under the 19, the exact same thing happens.

Maybe that's why everyone kept running out of gas where they wouldn't have in years past. The track is now bigger than it used to be!

its not a race anymore its an enduro cars with wt breaks cars that will go 100 laps on fuel and cars that wont, im surprised you guys got as many racers to come play with the mixed bach of rules, i will never again until the rules create competition instead division between all the racers that race was a joke like i said ENDURO i will never waste my time going over the mountains to watch a race its the rain that has screw your guys brains up

I am a huge race fan. But, I think turtles, tandem drafting at Daytona would have a better show than this mess.

Actually Namia did come down on there 19 & took himself out of contention to win the race.Granted he wouldn't even been on the lead lap after running out of fuel.If it wasn't for such a good samaritan pushing him back. Not to mention the chaos that ensued in the pits after the race. With Lang's fans, family or crew members that decide to take matters into there own hands with the #19 car & crew.An individual repeated attempted to start the car while it was up on jacks.Than proceed to try and throw hay makers to anyone face he could connect this.& yes I witnessed this 1st hand. There was no officials or sheriffs around at the time. How convenient. This is just classless. Yes its 11K to win. But to initially try and harm someone over a race. There is much bigger problems than this. In typical fashion Evergreen plays favorites. The replay would clearly show #00 moved down and made contact with the #19.If he would of never done that contact wouldn't of been made. So how they justify the dropping the #19 from finishing 2nd to last car on the lead lap is behind me.Statements were made to the to proper authorities and we will move onto the next race in 2 weeks.I'm sure HRP has learned a lot from this experience.

On a lighter note.It was really great to see so many cars come out an support the track. It was awesome to see some of the legends from the northwest tour days come out and still mix it up.It a long race.I don't understand why a fuel stop wasn't done. Or at least the leaders in contention didn't pull off under caution and top off. When you see 5 cars run out of fuel it may have been a good idea.Would off fallen back to 10th or 15th.Not tail end of the field and get caught up in someone else mess.Like so many did unfortunately.JZ51 definitely deserves an honorable mention for pushing several cars that ran out of fuel back to the pits.Next year will be a good one.

Seriously. Naima should be banned for life. He brings a bunch of thugs to the racetrack that run around and punch innocent people in the face after Naima is the moron that causes the wreck. Pathetic. If him and his "team" aren't embarrassed after last night something is wrong.

During the pit meeting, everyone was told that the drivers are responsible for there crew members. Well since the 00 boys came down and started throwing punches, how did 00 still finish 4th or 5th?

Wow, looks like I didn't miss anything by staying in Spokane and going to SCR instead. Poor management will kill any chance of growing late model racing around here.

Ive been going to evergreen since 96. They have always had the evergreen rules and then rules for the poster boy. As Naima is currently the poster boy & has been for the past few years.Nothing will happen to him or his punch throwing thug.Unless charges are pressed or something more serious happens. Its bad press for Evergreen and HRP. For people to be talking about this instead of the car counts and the racing action. But just maybe they can FINALLY take matters into there own hands an take proper action against the appropriate party.Which would help remove some of the black cloud when it comes to fairness of officating at Evergreen Speedway.

First of some of Lang fans said a couple of weeks ago he putting Mann inthe wall coming out of 4 on the 3/8. Go back and read the post..everyonesaid 11,000 on the line this would happen. He should of been a lap down for the gas..so he probably finished better being put in the wall than he would have had he lost that lap. When therr is a decent amount of money on the line Lang wil not win.

As for the race it could of been better. I would of did the mandatory caution at 75...it would of alllowed more cars to race for the win. Also the big wreck on lap 3 i would give that to the booth. Just as some guys try anx race too early, they should of never asked for a restart. Gomez only got a 1 car length lead but no reason to throw a restart.

what the drivers do in the car is one thing, what his crew/thugs do in the pits is uncalled for. i know they did say at the pit meeting that the driver is to keep his team/thugs clam and under control... the big ?? is, is the speedway going to do some thing about this at all?? or are they going to turn there backs cuz it is there golden boy..
