Loverock is staying glued to Self's rear bumper. And he isn't afraid to use it a little when the occasion arises. But SElf is holding on.

Self is not able to stay right on the bottom getting into the corners. That may be his undoing. But so far he is fending Loverock off.

Loverock puts the bumper on Self coming out of turn four and gains the lead going into turn one of lap 23.

Lap 25 and Loverock is beginning to check out as Goodwin is going to work on Self.

Thirty of forty laps are in the books. Loverock by about 10 lengths. Meanwhile Self still has a rear view mirror full of Self. Now Self can't keep his car stuck on the bottom and Goodwin motors by into second.

Next up the 1-800LOANMART Street Stock Shootout - 65 laps - with a $4000 payoff to the winner, $2500 to second, $1500 for third, and $1000 for fourth. No doubt this will be the biggest payoff of these driver's careers.

There will be a 10 minute intermission at the 25 lap point. They can refuel the cars but they cannot change tires.
