Message initially posted by janet: This should not be a big expense for us and will cost tracks and series nothing. It depends if I receive track approval, and quite honestly the tracks may have legal reasons they cannot let me do it, or room may be too limited.
The reason it will be good for drivers is of course the extra exposure and the fact the families can listen in. The reason it is good for the Series is they can quickly get word out to the fans, families and promote the next event.
The tracks will benefit by our tapping in on their announcer as listeners will be hearing the track announcer saying sponsor names over and over. So whatever the sponsor says will now go out to an even larger audience, to those people that wanted to be at the track but it was too far to travel, or they had to work, etc.
The beauty of all this is we are not focused on a certain series or track, so it will unite a lot of people and provide crossover traffic. We have a huge reading audience...and the ability to reach a huge listening audience.

Any cost to tracks would be with the owner/promoter paying for the needed server bandwidth from their ISP or Internet Provider. Server bandwidth costs money...but that could be handled by subscriptions for the radio link and/or advertising for the track sponsors could be twisted for a little more to cover the cost for airtime....
