The track is big and fast, but it is also a driver's track, due to how wide it is and how worn the pavement is.

The coolest thing about this place is the covered grandstand. There is something about the grandstands being covered that gives a race track that certain "Historic" look and feel. I still remeber when Darlington had the old covered grandstand on what used to be the front straight.

I hope they get a good crowd for today's race, because I think it's going to be an exciting race. Lots of racing room on this track, which should provide for some great side by side racing.

They have to have a cover due the extreme heat (72 degrees) and also if it rains they might rust!! Grin
