That was kind of my point Rusty, you hit it right on the head.

I know that this is the premier racing news site for all of us around this area. but there are other methods that could be used, even other computer methods. And they are free too. There's Facebook, there's Twitter, there's even other sites out there (not that I use them much). Then there are magazines like Late Model Digest or Late Model Racer that will run stuff for free if you send in something worth printing. There are a host of options if you just work a bit. Not to mention that thing called a phone. I get calls all the time from Evergreen to see if we are running the upcoming races, every track should be doing that. Then they should be using that information to promote THIER event better.

I'm not slamming on any track in particular here. Just pointing out that IF you are willing to work a bit, there are always methods out there. And the end result is, relying on a single method is a recipe for disaster. In this era of Facebook Timelines, instant news feeds and so on, we need to employ every option we have accesss to.
