Even though there maybe some racers not returning, there are others planning to run for the first time which will keep the car counts steady. I think the first few shows will have car counts greater than last season for the same tracks (Blythe and Havasu). By not making big changes to the rules, this will help to keep cars. A series will always "lose" cars as the series goes through a season due to the almighty dollar but I would expect 30+ cars at each event.
