| Alissa Geving the 14 year old daughter of Gary and Melissa Geving and the developmental driver for Melo Gordon Motorsports fell ill while en route to Cycleland Speedway on Saturday. Alissa was treated and released from Enloe Hospital in Chico on Saturday. During the early hours of Sunday morning she was admitted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and later transferred to UCSF.
Alissa is currently in stable condition in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the UCSF Hospital. At this time the cause of her problem is unknown. She has received blood transfusions and low blood pressure continues to be a problem. Alissa is awake and talking to those by her side. She is in good spirits and looking forward to putting this behind her so she can climb back in her cart and go racing!
Melo Gordon Motorsports and Alissa's family would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support. Alissa cannot receive flowers due to the fact that she is in ICU at this time. Cards and well wishes my be mailed to her at:

We are just getting settled in with alissa and and her family in sfo. Alissa will have a computer brought in in the am to read messages. the family is extremely greatfull for all the support and prayers but are extremely exhausted. the doctors feel that she is turning the corner in a positive direction this evening. please continue the support it is keeping all spirits high!! thanks you to johnna of nscs and racingwest for getting accurate information out.
