| A 46-year-old Anderson man died Sunday in a race car crash in the speed trials at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
Photos from the wreck show Barry Bryant's silver race car, the Tom Thumb Special, careening out of control at 200 mph, turning in a tornadolike spin that tossed car parts hundreds of feet. Though the wreck can only be described as horrific, Bryant's family says they take comfort knowing that the racer of 30 years died doing what he loved. Source & full article: Redding Searchlight |
