Dan Puskarich At Ontario my brother was in line at driver sign in and Benny was in line behind him. When Nascar waved at Benny to jump the line around those ahead he deferred saying that there were other drivers there also. Benny was class, Nascar isn't.

Peter-John and Anne Benny, Meeting you was a thrill for Peter-John and I...I have loved learning real racing from your broadcasts. You were so busy that day at the race, but detoured over and stopped to see Peter-John. My own struggle with cancer has given me great empathy for what you are going through. Prayers and love are being sent to you...we stopped to do a detour of friendship, like you did for us, to tell we are on your team....rooting for you to keep going...May you be richly blessed for your life of kindness :-)

Funny how it goes that with folks who love the same things yet have never met are some of the same folks we feel like we've known all of our lives.
Benny, you're one of those rare people and we can only hope and pray that you are getting better and will soon be recovered enough to be seen at the races again.
Perhaps working behind the microphone at the level you returned to may have been a bit much but you have to do what you love and we do love hearing you. If it is to be that you stop or greatly reduce the time spent therein, it would still be a privilege to see you at the track in ANY capacity.
Good luck, my friend and may your health improve. May God bless you.
Kaye Reshaw You can beat this. Get well soon.
