Prayers and Support For Cara O'Neal

  • RON STEWART
    Rest in peace Cara.
  • Peter-John Newton
I am late in posting this because of Peter-John's recent needs, but my prayers have been there for you and will continue to go up for all those who loved Cara and were touched by her life. Those from the Northwest tour are all so special to us and we will all feel the loss, because when one hurts we all hurt. I hope that in knowing that Cara touched many lives (as seen here) that it will help you to understand that racing smiles last forever - may her smile remain. Anne and Peter-John

Our thoughts and prayers are with Cara's family at this time. We know God will see you through and in time you will have only good memories of her and she won't be hurting any longer, but you will always remember her no matter what.

My heart felt sympathy goes out to the Simpson and O'Neal families. I had the pleasure to work with Cara at South Sound Speedway for quite a few years. Dr. Jer is correct when he said she was one of the best Chief Scorers around. On tense nights at the race track Cara's red hair would really glow, sometimes on the radio she would get a little short with the reline crew during a race. I found if I walked over to the scoring area in the tower and make eye contact with Cara and said "B*T*H!", we would start to laugh and the racing night would again be fine. I will miss her greatly as a friend.

My condolences to Cara's family. Cara was one of the best line scorers I have met and what a team when Jackie and her worked together at the tracks. Cara was very helpful in the startup seasons of the Late Model Challenge Series and will be missed. Rest peacefully Cara...Dr Jer
