| Dean Kuhn, the 2001 Irwindale Speedway Grand American Modified Champion and many time main event winner at various race tracks throughout the Southwest was involved in a serious motorcycle accident this past weekend in the desert.
Kuhn was airlifted to a northern San Diego County hospital late Sunday afternoon. Dean is currently resting comfortably and is scheduled to be released later this week. He has already been fitted for a back brace and the doctors anticipate a 100% recovery that should take approximately 4-5 months.
At this time, a temporary driver for the #23 MIRKA Abrasive West Coast Pro Truck is already being sought out. Kuhn would like to get back behind the wheel sometime this summer. All thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery will certainly be appreciated.
