Community Cares Grandpa Al Krieger
| Grandpa Al Krieger of Palmdale (Calif.) passed away last night, Thursday. Grandpa was a familiar face to many in racing, especially to the Saugus and Irwindale racing community. Grandpa was a well like gentleman and was often found cooking up something for the teams and passers by while son Gary and grandson, Larry worked on the race car.
Among the many loved ones he leaves behind is daugher-in-law Karen and grandson, Mark. Krieger family friend and spokeswoman, Renee Farr said, "He is with Larry now. It was just six months ago that we lost Larry. Now they are together." Grandpa will be buried at Forest Lawn next to his beloved Grandson, Larry, who lost his battle with a rare disease in February. The entire racing community extends heartfelt prayers and support to the Krieger family. God Bless you all. |
