Marc, I knew your dad well, and I was proud that he called me his friend. He was a dear and trusted friend to me. He loved you with all of his being, and he was extremly proud of you, both on and off the race track. I know he's smiling down on you and all of us from Heaven. You are a great person. Your parents did a great job in raising you. Sincerely, Paul Harraka sr.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Davis at Phoenix. Although I saw him around many race tracks never got to talk to him until April 2008. The thing I remember most of Mr Davis is his smile. I never saw that man without a smile and a friendly hello to everyone. I'm as shocked as everyone at the passing of Mr Davis. To the entire Davis family my heart goes out to you in your time of need and your in my Prayers and thoughts. GOD Speed Mr. Davis, you will be missed by everyone that knew you

This was such awful news. Marc, my heart goes out to you as one who has experienced the loss of a parent also. You have also lost a best friend. Your dad was so proud of you. He was your biggest fan on the track and I am sure off also. Every success you have, your dad will be a part of even though not physically there. Hugs!
