October 11 --From MRO's Eddie Robison -- Hey folks, Just wanted to let ya'll know that I talked on the phone last night with Karla AND Jeff Krogh. They are doing well, he is still in the hospital in Denver. He is scheduled to have the halo removed in November, and go home for 10 days at Thanksgiving. He is also hoping to be home for Christmas permanently! He is walking with a cane and walker, but some on his own in his room. We talked quite a while and he sounds great. He even sounded like he missed some of his racing days down at OSS! (He really misses his friends in racing) He wanted me to tell all of you thanks for the prayers and concerns. He hopes to visit us at some races next year. Keep him in your prayers as he recovers. Thanks!! July 5 -- MRO Chaplin, Eddie Robison, stats that Jeff Krogh's condition Sunday remained virtually unchanged and he was still listed in critical condition, a day after a crash during practice. Krogh was taken unconscious to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital following the crash Saturday at the state fairgrounds in West Allis where he was participating in happy hour getting ready for the DieHard 250. He was placed on a ventilator to help his breathing but had no fractures or visible signs of injury, the hospital said. NASCAR Busch Series driver of the #56 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Jeff Krogh of Kamiah, Idaho, was seriously injured Saturday, July 3rd at the Milwaukee Mile. Krogh, former NASCAR Winston West competitor, was out for a final practice run in preparation for Sunday's DieHard 250 when he hit hard into the Turn 1 retaining wall. Krogh had crashed earlier in the day during his qualifying run and had to use a provisional to get a starting position. Krogh has been competing in the NASCAR Busch Series since 1997. Both Krogh and his younger brother Mark Krogh competed in the NASCAR Winston West Series before going east to compete. Krogh is currently listed in serious but stable condition at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee.
