Community Cares Jerry Nadeau

Jerry Nadeau is known worldwide but is best known in the west for his Winston West Series win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was Nadeau's first NASCAR victory. Nadeau was driving a Melling prepared car for the event.

In his winner’s interview Nadeau spoke highly of not only the Series, but also how much he enjoyed the people that were a part of the Winston West.

Nadeau was injured in a crash on a short track during a NASCAR Winston Cup practice session. Our prayers and thoughts are with not only Nadeau, but also his family as they cope with his injury.

To each one of you ...Family, Team, and especially you Jerry: You can be sure that our family joins our entire Northwest Series and thousands around the country in faith and prayer for Jerry's healing and return to a normal life. We do not always understand the Lord's paths in our lives, but we do know He is faithful, cares for and seeks our best, and ultimately is our Healer. That is His very character, so we can trust in Him. So be courageous, stand in faith and watch for His miracles daily as He answers prayer. May the Lord bless you and give you peace and strength throughout each step of the way.

  • Peter-John Newton
Jerry, Jana, and family, You were the first NASCAR driver that Peter-John ever met. We saw you at Hunt's Performance in Sacramento, California in June of 1999. You were so kind to bend down next to Peter-John's wheelchair to provide him with special racing smiles. Because he is deaf and legally blind, it meant so much to us for you to take the time to do that. That showed us what a wonderful soul you are. We have followed your racing career since then and have seen the wonderful things you have done for so many others like your recent visit to the troops in Afghanistan and at the hospital. For all that you have done with a such generous heart and caring spirit, we are now praying that Jesus will reward you with a peace that passes understanding. This will be a rough time, yet you will not be alone. Know that we are praying for you as are so many. God be with you.
  • Michelle Rogers, Redlands California
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will add you to our church prayer chain. There is Power in Prayer. God Bless... Michelle
