![]() On Christmas Eve 2010, the Mustang community suffered one of its greatest losses when Joe Gosinski (age 44) was brutally murdered with a gunshot fired to his chest in his shop in Torrance (Calif.). Gosinski was well known for his work customizing cars, especially Ford Mustangs. The killer remains at large and the case is still under investigation. The Beach City Mustang Club is having a car cruise and auction to raise money for a reward in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this heinous crime. Drivers of the NHRA and NASCAR have sent boxes of stuff for the auction. The cruise is on February 13th. It will feature a few stops along the way, with each stop, celebrating a different aspect of Joe’s life. The cost to participate is $20 per person. Net proceeds raised will go towards the reward fund This will not only be a chance to grieve, to heal, and to celebrate Joe’s life, but an opportunity to help catch the person or persons responsible for taking away such an inspirational member of the aftermarket performance world.
