We knew little that evening, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. Author Unknown PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES Cards may be sent to: Margaret Cowherd PO Box 10817 Glendale, Az. 85318-0817 Hello My Friend, Hello It is me, the young man in need of guidance. The young man dealing with a few of those "life" things that they don't teach us in books. A time in one's life as cold as the January day when we first met. Keith, Keith Cowherd, I hear you say as you reach out your hand. It isn't the words you said to me then, but the warm, full of life look you have in your eyes. A young man stood before you, one who most needed a friend. Like then, a young man reaches out for that friend he misses so. As the years passed my friend, my partner you became. My mentor, my teacher, my number one fan. My, how lucky I am. Feeling better and more confident, is how you felt, when with you. Hello My Friend, Hello.... the things you did, that didn't feel so good or differed in what I thought, are the things called tough love...Dads know this well, and I thank you my friend. My path and your path is for life. You now lead the way as you always have. To be the best example, the stewardship was for not. My partner, my friend, my example. I will miss you. I love you lots. To My Teacher Ernie 9/30/99 I want to give you my deepest condolences, I myself lost a loved one not to long ago, and I want to share this prayer with you Safely Home: I'am home in heaven dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over; Every restless tossing past; I'am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly I Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus love illumined every dark and fearful glade. And he came himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread; and with Jesus arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not greive so sorely, For I love you dearly still: Try to look beyond earths shadow's, Pray to trust our fathers will. There is work still waiting for you, so you must not Idly stand Do it now life remaineth You shall rest in Jesus land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; oh, the rapture of that meeting, oh, the joy to see you come. Please take care, Teri Smith "I would like to say thank you to all of you who have been so kind to me. Reading all you have shared with me has touched my heart. May God bless all of you,Margaret Cowherd I can truly say that I have had the opportunity to meet one of God's angel's in Keith, and for him to leave such an indelible impression on all those he met in his life is a what we should all strive for...he was simply himself. Jack Grehan, General Manager, Forest Highlands, Flagstaff, AZ Margaret and Family, Recently we were blessed with the presence of the founder of MRO, Max Helton, at Madera Speedway and a few of us were fortunate enough to take advantage of his services that day--the Shepherds, Dyer, Ed Coughenour and my wife and I. The donations sent to MRO in your husband's memory to be used for children's programs was very thoughtful. The racing world appreciates it. Also, last Monday we did a spot on behalf of all racers and especially your family on our radio show in Arizona, Racing Roundup. I discussed the concerns of loss and injury as well as areas we can read from the bible that helps us deal with the suffering. I would like to mention that the book of Corinthians assists us with spiritual understanding and relief from the pain. I say assists because words alone seem to be only as good as the person receiving them. Additionally our church has added you and your family to our prayer list and are thinking of you. Darrell LaMoure #17 NASCAR SW Tour and the Desert Thunder Motorsports Team Margaret, Nick, family members and his dear friends.
