Community Cares Pat Mintey Sr.

To all my fellow racers and friends - please keep Pat Mintey Sr. in your thoughts and prayers as he fell ill and was hospitalized a week ago and remains hospitalized with West Niles Virus. From what I have been told he is extremely ill and at one point the Doctors said they couldn't do anymore for him. All healing thoughts and prayers and good positive vibes are much needed and greatly appreciated. As many of you know the Mintey's are a family of race car drivers, both Pat and his brother Mike, and son Pat Jr. hold multiple championships at Saugas Speedway and Irwindale (TSI). They continue the racing lineage with grandson Trick, driving a SuperTruck at TSI before closing. Let's all pull together and let the power of prayer heal Pat now. Thank you, Wendy

  Well over a month in ICU, Pat is recovering slowly at Loma Linda Medical Center. He is requesting "real food" and hopefully have his feeding tube removed soon. He is able to whisper some words and has been walking thanks to God's Blessings.

He may be moved to Loma Linda Hospital tomorrow to received more expert care. Pat is a good strong man and will pull through this terrible illness, I just know it. Thank you all!
