Community Cares Steve Brucker

From Robert Gardner, Cajon Speedway Media Coordinator We received some horrible news today. Our track promoter, Steve Brucker was shot and killed at his home this afternoon. According to what I have heard, he opened his front door and was shot. At the current time I have no information about racing (as if that is at all important) or anything else. But obviouusly the whole Cajon Speedway family is in shock, disbelief, and in tears. We are all praying for his wife Bonnie, sons Eric and Adam, his brother Kevin, his mom Marilyn and his dad Earle. I will keep you informed. Please leave your prayers for the family and your good memories on Steve.

  This weekend as we race in Havasu there will so many of us together. Your name will be brought up with many memories of you and how much we miss you and Cajon. There is no words to say how much of a void we have in our hearts from losing you. The race track isnt there but we are a family and we stick together thru thick and thin. You taught us to help the little guy, be a friend to the the unfriendly sometimes. Hard lessons when you were teaching but valuable tools now as we get older.
