| Todd Havens, former President of Sunset Speedway located in Airway
Heights, WA, was seriously injured in an on-track racing incident on Sept.
22, 2007 at the .200-mile dirt oval.
He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Deaconess Hospital in Spokane for a closed-head injury with many possibilities for the future left to be determined. At this time doctors are hoping that Todd can improve in the next few days without major surgery, but, only time will tell if that will be possible. Todd is a man of faith, loves kids and racing at Sunset. He would not want to have all of the attention being directed towards him but the power of prayer may be the best medicine to offer at this time. A big Tony Stewart fan, Todd can match Smoke’s intensity and commitment to being the best in everything he does from his company, Western Rail, to his children and family. He'll need that intensity and glow prayer will provide to overcome the challenges he is facing. Please offer prayers for Todd as this week will be an important time in his life and the lives of his family. With strength in numbers; the more praying for our friend the better! Doug Pace |
