Taren Hunter Rambeck Update - 05/28/2008

Taren Update – May 29, 2008
Ever feel like a solicitor? Sometimes I think I do except, thank goodness, it is always for prayer for someone!

Once again it is really close to home – our little Taren boy.

Thank you for being such a huge part of his miraculous life and healing.

Truly, God answers prayers!

Please focus prayer for Taren today is on his expected ultrasound today …or at the latest, tomorrow. The doctors have not tapped any fluid from his head the last week (and that is a good thing!) They are ready to make some major decisions based upon this ultrasound. Taren is 4 lbs. 2 oz. and if this ultrasound goes well he may be able to be moved to Salem Hospital.

That is really exciting for Sarah & Joseph who will not have to go the 100 plus miles every day …along with the rest of us.

Taren now has his own little bed and is out of the enclosed, limited light, and heated one. He is breathing his own air and holding his own body temperature. His only minor issue has been an infection that doctors say is very typical …and they are surprised it has not shown up sooner.

That infection caused another IV and feeding him by it along with medicine. He had really liked normal nursing and was growing fast.

Therefore, please keep praying for Taren to have a perfect result from the ultrasound which means not having a permanent shunt put into him and he can move to Salem. Second, pray the infection goes away quickly so he can nurse again.

Thanks again for your prayers for Taren.

Blessings to you,
Bob
