Bill Schmitt Driver Bio
Bill Schmitt won an amazing 4 NASCAR Winston West Series Championships winning in 1977, 1979, 1989 and 1990. He was the winner of the first NASCAR sanctioned race outside of the United States winning a 500-lapper at Calgary, Alberta Canada. He also competed Melbourne, Austrailia for the first race NASCAR ever had off the North American Continent. Schmitt was inducted into the Gatorade Circle of Champions in 1989.
