Burney Lamar Driver Bio
Burney began his racing career at the age of five racing go-karts in California, winning some 25 track championships and three International Karting Federation
Regional Championships by the time he was fourteen.
By 1999 Burney had a California NASCAR Tri-Track late model championship
in his resume, and in 2000 added a Rookie of the Year trophy driving sprint cars
in the USAC Western States Sprint Car Series by finishing third in their point standings.
Turning back to stock cars in 2001, he won the Rookie of the Year trophy in the
NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series.
