Gary Smith Driver Bio
Gary Smith is a four-time International Karting Federation Champion. He won IMCA Modified championships in 1990, 1992, and 1993. He finished third in the NASCAR Northwest Touring Series championship standings in 1995, with one victory. He is the son of Roy Smith a four time NASCAR Winston West Series Champion. He finished second in his first Winston West race at Evergreen Speedway in 1996. He ran the full schedule with car owner Bill Strauser in 1997, winning the Rookie-of-the-Year title and finishing third in the standings. He returned in 1998 with car owner Bill McAnally and picked up another third in the standings. He raced limited events for various owners from 1999-2000.
