Dan Obrist Driver Bio
Dan Obrist is a well-known competitor at his hometown track of Portland (Ore.) Speedway. He won the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series late model stock car title there in 1993 and finished second in the Pacific Coast Region. He tackled the NASCAR Winston West Series in 1995finishing fourth in the championship standins and second in the rookie standings. He was one of seven NASCAR Winston West Series drivers to compete in the NASCAR Suzuka Thunder Special 100 at Suzuka City, Japan, in November of 1996.
