Kevin Richards Driver Bio
Kevin Richards worked as a crew chief for 10 years and served as crew chief for the team that won the championship in NASCAR's Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series as a rookie in 1996, then began to focus on the NASCAR Winston West Series where he ran five races in 1997. Richards ran the full schedule in 1998, finishing fifth in the championship standings and second in the rookie standings. His sophomore season in the series was a strong one, with three wins and a fourth place finish in the championship standings.. His third victory was in the the '99 NASCAR Coca-Cola 500 at Twin Ring Motegi in Japan. Richards was the only driver in the series to win on both a short track and a super-speedway in 1999.
