Mike Chase Driver Bio
Native of Redding, California, who won a number of NASCAR stock car championships at home track of Shasta Speedway in Anderson, California, where his father, Alvin Chase, had competed. Won the Featherlite Southwest Series NASCAR title in 1987. Won the rookie-of-the-year title in the NASCAR Winston West Series in 1990. Won a tough battle with Ron Hornaday for the series championship in 194. Returned to the series on a limited schedule a year later, winning back-to-back events midway through the season. Competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 1995 and 1996. Commutes to the West Coast from North Carolina, where he moved his family in 1993.
