Roy Smith Driver Bio
Roy Smith, a four-time NASCAR Winston West Series champion, drowned when a commercial fishing trawler sank off northern Vancouver Island on February 26, 2004.
Smith of Malahat, British Columbia, was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2002.
Smith's son, Gary, was the first driver to bring a win to Bill McAnally Racing.
