Sarah Fisher Driver Bio
Racing career began at 5 years of age with a quarter-midget. Raced quarter-midgets and go-karts through 1994 winning four consecutive karting national championships. began competing in Winged Outlaw Sprint cars in 1995. Raced in select World of Outlaws sprint car races adn made 50 starts in All-Star sprint series in 1998. Began racing in the Indy Racing League's IndyCar Series after passing rookie test in 1999. Became only the third woman to qualify for the Indidanapolis 500 in 2000. Scored career best 2nd in Indy Car at homestead Miami in 2001. Won pole for IndyCar event at Kentucky Speedway in 2002. In 2001, 2002 and 2003 was voted IRL Most Popular Driver. Made NASCAR debut in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series at Phoenix in 2004.
