NASCAR: EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY 60 MINUTES OF FEAR
EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY
This Saturday May 17th Evergreen Speedway will host its annual 60 Minutes of FEAR. This premiere, west coast figure eight racing event, has been host to wild success and crushing blows to many a figure eight racing team through the years. Last years 60 Minutes winner Ricky "The Kid" Deitz returns to defend his title, albeit a little worse for the wear. Two weeks ago, Ricky while working on a racecar late on a Friday night, badly injured his finger. Taken to the hospital, doctors were unable to save part of his finger and had to remove it. The next day was race day and Ricky hung tough to finish third in the main event. After a week of healing he will be back, along with current points leader and defending Pawn X-Change Super Figure Eight Champion John "The Cowboy" Carlson to run the 60 Minutes. Ryan Gunderson, Doug Delfel, Troy Simianer and others are already pre-entered in this $1500.00 to win race.
