DAVE REED RACING ANNOUNCES LIMITED SCHEDULE
WINSTON WEST & FEATHERLITE SOUTHWEST SERIES
  Dave Reed Racing

IRVINE, CA -- Dave Reed, owner of Dave Reed Racing and chief executive officer of Advantage Memory Corporation, the race team's associate sponsor, today announced that his team will run a limited schedule during the 1999 season. The team anticipates that it will compete in approximately five to six events, including both NASCAR Winston West and NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series events, at venues to include California Speedway, Irwindale Speedway, the Los Angeles Street Race, Sears Point Raceway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Long-time Dave Reed Racing driver, Craig Raudman, is expected to remain behind the wheel of the familiar #2 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the 1999 season.

Dave Reed commented, "We're planning to take the 1999 season to regroup our racing effort. We are committed to the Winston West program and always enjoy a Southwest Series race; however, we have come to realize that bringing in a primary sponsor is paramount to our ability to compete at the level we expect of ourselves. We will continue our sponsorship search and expand our program as we are able."

Dave Reed Racing operates NASCAR Winston West and Featherlite Southwest Series teams with Craig Raudman as driver. Craig finished the year in seventh place out of fifteen drivers competing for the Sears Point Raceway Winston West Rookie-of-the-Year Award and thirteenth in the points standings. He finished in the top five in final points standings in four of his past five full NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series seasons. His successful 1997 season included one win, six top five finishes, thirteen top ten finishes and three Bud Pole Awards. ####
