CREW MEMBER HAS HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR NEW TEAM
 FEATHERLITE SOUTHWEST SERIES
 

The #78 Darren Crocker/Nitrotech Team has gone through the new team jitters and is ready to get on the track at Phoenix International Raceway. Now that the crew and driver is starting to gel, they are ready to their car into the field at the Copper World Classic when the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series runs its 2nd event of the season.

One of the many enthusiastic members of the Nitrotech team is Lisa, who acts a s both scorer and PR for the team. Below Lisa gives us insight on what to expect from this exciting new team.

RacingWest: What's your favorite part about racing at the Copper Classic and what significance does the Copper World Classic have in your career as a driver?
Lisa: I don't driver, and going for the first time in two weeks.

RW: Considering that PIR has two distinctly different corners, which do you, set your car up for to be the best you can or can you get both?
Lisa: Unknown

RW: Track record being a 27.386 held by Hornaday from the 1995 CWC, do you feel that this record will go down this year and how will you do it?
Lisa: Not the driver

RW: NASCAR has a new Monte Carlo body this year (straight up). Do you feel this is an advantage on the PIR mile?
Lisa: Yes

RW: Since this is only a 50-lap race, will it be 50 flat out or will you have to conserve the car a little?
Lisa: Flat out

RW: If you could compare Phoenix to any other track the Series races on, which one would it be?
Lisa: Unknown

RW: What is your goal, Win? Exposure? Experience?
Lisa: Maturity

RW: What advantages can you offer a sponsor for this race over other teams?
Lisa: Hard work and honesty

RW: What will you do now that there is no longer the Toolies/drivers get together on Thursday night before the race?
Lisa: Unknown

RW: Do you have any sightseeing planned during your trip to Phoenix?
Lisa: Nope, quick in and quick out. ####
