MacKinley Motorsports with high hopes of returning to PIR for the 1999 Copper World Classic will not do so this year, although this was a big let down for the team the team is already preparing for the El Cajon race in March.

Due to the withdrawal of funding from our primary sponsor in early January, the team has been working endlessly to find a new sponsor and should have a sponsorship deal together that will allow use to run the rest for the 1999 SWS season by March 1st.

Adam MacKinley wanted to thank Michael Harrington, Darrel LaMoure and Mark Reed for the help, and also announce the addition of Drummond Racing in Goodyear, AZ to the team, Duane Drummond will serve as crew chief & team manager.

We'll see you next year at the 2000 Copper World Classic!
