WARE TO SHINE IN VEGAS
 WINSTON WEST SERIES

THOMASVILLE, NC -- Mothers Premium Vehicle Care Products will help Rick Ware look to the bright side of a great finish in the Orleans 150 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 5. Ware Enterprises, the marketing division of Ware Racing announced today that Mothers will be an associate sponsor for the 1999 NWWS season. The Huntington Beach, California company markets polishes, waxes and cleaners through most major auto supply and mass merchant retailers in the U.S. and Canada.

Ware, owner/driver of the #51 NWWS Pontiac is one of 16 Sears Point Raceway Rookie-of-the-Year contenders this season. Currently 10th in rookie points, Ware has expectations of improving his 14th place finish last November. Ware made his debut at LVMS qualifying 23rd in the Sam's Town 125, the final race of the NWWS 1998 season.

"I like speedway racing!" Ware says. "LVMS is one of my favorite tracks. It's not a high-banked track like Charlotte or Atlanta, but the speeds are similar. It's a two-groove, wide track. Wider is better!" Ware jokingly remarked. "Anytime you have four-wide racing down the straights, it's good racing for the drivers and the fans!"

"After Tucson, we need a great finish in Vegas." Ware said. "We have prepared...prepared and prepared some more for this race. We tested "Blackjack" (the car) here in January with Hoosier. It was a great test! From what we know after that session and what we found out from the chassis dyno, we have the potential for a top-5 car. "We're doublin' down on our chances!" Says Ware.

Effective at Las Vegas, two other associate sponsors have joined Ware Racing. Racing News West and RacingWest have become marketing partners for the balance of the season. Racing News West is a start-up publication covering the NASCAR Winston West Series. Published bi-monthly, the tabloid format newspaper has subscription and track side distribution. RacingWest is a world-wide web site that also targets news coverage of the Winston West and Southwest Series the site publishes in-depth information about teams, drivers and tracks in both series. The web site for RacingWest is www.racingwest.com.

Sportsman Racing Products (SRP) of Huntington Beach, California has signed on as the primary sponsor of Ware Racing for the Las Vegas race. Sportsmans Racing Products is one of several product lines offered by J.E. Pistons. SRP manufacturers high performance pistons and engine parts for street and competition vehicles. J.E. Pistons is an official sponsor of NASCAR.

Recently, Ware announced a marketing alliance with Hoosier racing tire as an associate sponsor. Ware was chosen by Hoosier to be one of the primary NWWS testing drivers. The alliance allows Hoosier to research and showcase products through the race team during the 1999 season. Hoosier Racing Tire corporation, an Indiana based company, has been in business since 1957 and produces over 1,200 different sizes of racing tires for nearly every conceivable motor sports venue. ####
