ANAHEIM, CA -- Davis Racing Enterprises driver Jeff Davis has entered his team's #92 Ford Taurus in the Winston Cup Series event this weekend at Las Vegas. The team has been working overtime to be prepared for this opportunity, which came at the last minute.

"Everything has come together for us and I am so excited to be able to take our team to this event for a great group of sponsors" said Davis. "The impetus for this entire program has been a desire by one guy, Eric Zimmerman"

Zimmerman will be opening his brand new 150 seat Race Car Cafe just in front of the speedway very soon. This weekend his patio will be open for race fans to buy breakfast and lunch. And he wants to launch this opening in grand style.

The restaurants opening will feature a Winston Cup show car on display, as well as the #92 Taurus piloted by Jeff Davis in Sunday's race.

"Our run at Motegi where we ran well using our team's 12:1 engines and Winston Cup aero rules to gave us the confidence that we will do well at Las Vegas" says Crew Chief Brian Bass. "We have made big improvements to our equipment over the winter that should pay off in qualifying."

Other sponsors for the Davis Racing Enterprises team's entry this weekend include the Polo Towers time-share vacation condominium suites, Big Daddy's BBQ Sauces, www.lasvegas.com and Boyds Coffee.

Big Daddy's BBQ is a relatively new product in the BBQ sauce industry and is currently being marketed to over 13,000 stores nationwide. Their product line includes BBQ Sauce, Spices, Meats and Backyard Brew.
