RALPHS RACE TEAM SUPPORTS KING SOOPERS
 WINSTON WEST SERIES

#16 - NASCAR Winston West Sean Woodside

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- While in Colorado Spring, for the King Soopers "150" race weekend, the Ralphs/Food 4 Less Race Team made a stop at the King Soopers Grocery Store in Littleton, Colorado just outside of Denver.

At an event to promote the race weekend at Pikes Peak International Raceway King Soopers had drivers and their cars at various markets in the Denver and surrounding area. The Ralphs/Food 4 Less Race Team made a special appearance at the Littleton store on Thursday before the race to show off their race car and for driver Butch Gilliland to sign a few autographs. "This King Soopers is a really nice store", stated Gilliland. "We did our shopping here for the race weekend." "All of the employees and shoppers were very nice and extremely curious about the team and car."

The team also carried a King Soopers sticker on their race car for the race weekend, along with 2 other new stickers. One was a sticker in honor of fellow NASCAR driver Rick Carelli who was injured in an accident prior to the event and also a sticker in tribute of the Columbine High School tragedy in Littleton Colorado.

The team show car will be on display this Friday night May 21st at Irwindale Speedway in the Y-107 booth at the track. ####
