Rookie season has been a rough season for driver Bear Lynch at Colorado National Speedway. Even though this 24 year old driver has almost everything going for him including crew, car and motor; the one thing he doesn't have going for him so far this year is luck. As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for bad luck-Bear would have no luck at all.
Some may say that he used all of his luck last year to win the championship in the Pro Truck division at CNS at the end of the year. However, people who know Bear and his team, know that it was perseverance, consistency and determination that won him his first championship in stock car racing.
OK..... maybe a little luck too.
This year so far has been a big test for Bear doing double duty with a Pro Truck and Late Model at CNS. Although people may question as to why he is currently running in both divisions; he answers simply by his competitiveness in both divisions. The team has decided, however to not run the Pro Truck this weekend and primarily focus on the Southwest Tour Race. Even though this is not a points race to secure a top ten in points his rookie season at CNS, he hopes to gain more acknowledgment from those who can help him pursue his immediate goal to run the Southwest Tour Series full time next season.
At this point, all he can ask for... is a little luck.
