IRWINDALE, California -- The Irwindale 250 by Jan's Towing was the setting for Team 5 Star's "Day in the Pits VIP Fan Appreciation" and was a huge success. Jim Holloway and his son Jim Jr. were the special fans participated with Team 5 Star Spec Truck members Frank Steiner # 3, DJ Ferreira # 31,Nate Wulff # 72 and NASCAR Winston West Series drivers/associates, Dean Kuhn # 13, Eric Norris # 32 and Jeff Barister # 53
The Holloways not only experienced entry to the garage area, lunch and the race; they were also given race apparel provided by the Team 5 Star Association to promote their honored fans. They had an opportunity to meet the Team 5 Star drivers and crew and watch them in action in the pits.
The next fan drawing for Team 5 Star is July 15th. As those at Team 5 Star say, "Hope to see you there with us. Lets Go Race!"
