TUCSON, Arizona -- This Sunday, October 24, the NASCAR Auto Zone Southwest Series will make up their rained out race from September 18th, with the STARNURSERY Dot Com 150 at Tucson Raceway Park. In addition local NASCAR Late Model competitors will take to the track, as well as local Factory Stock drivers. The Late Models will do a 50-lap Main Event, while the Factory Stocks will do Twin-25's.
NASCAR Southwest Series competitors will be on the track from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Local competitors will start hot lapping at 10:30 am and go until 11:15 am. Practice is open to the public and the park will be cleared prior to 11:15 am and those with tickets will be allowed to re-enter. Tickets will be on sale at that time for non-ticket holders. Pricing is set at $15 for Adults, $12 for Juniors (12-17 years of age), Seniors (62+ years of age) and Military (with ID). Kids 11 years of age and Under are FREE!
The NASCAR Southwest Series competitors will do a two lap qualifying session beginning at Noon. This will be followed by the local Factory Socks and NASCAR Late Models
Racing Information for Sunday, October 24 has Pit Gates Open at 8:00 am for practice and qualifying, Spectator Gates Open at11:15 am, and the Main Event Action is set to start at 1:00 pm. For More Info call 762-9200.
