NICK LYNCH SET FOR A GOOD RUN AT TUCSON

BURLEY, Idaho -- Armed with a top running Mr.Gas/Yerf-Dog Chevy, Nick Lynch and the Lynch Mob Motorsports crew head for Tucson Raceway Park and the Star Nursery.Com 150, Round 13 of the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series, Sunday, October 24.

"We tested at Tucson Raceway Park a few weeks back," says Lynch. "And we were pretty fast. I know our car is good, but this will be the first time I have actually competed on this track. It is definitely going to be fun and I think we have a good chance of doing well. In short I'm looking forward to this new challenge."

With only two rounds left in this year's Southwest Series, Lynch is more than determined to end the season on a high note. "We were doing really well last week at Bakersfield," says the recent Arizona State graduate. "But I made a mistake and drove it in too hard and ended up spinning. We got back on track, but were forced to settle for a 12th place finish. It would be really good to get a top five finish in this round and the next at Phoenix International Raceway, Nov. 4th.

In his first full year of NASCAR competition, Lynch is currently ranked 13th in the overall point's battle. A good finish at the next two events could easily move him up in the final standings. "It's definitely been a year of learning for me," says Lynch. "When we started we had a new crew, a new car and I had never even seen most of the tracks. I've learned an incredible amount and am pleased with the progress we have made. My Dad has given me an incredible opportunity and nothing would please me more than to be able to present him with a win."

Qualifying for the 150-Lap/56.25 mile Star Nursery.Com gets underway on Sunday, October 24 at Noon and racing action takes place at 2:00 PM.####
