With NASCAR coming into town November 4-7 and Phoenix International Raceway being the stop for all the stars of NASCAR racing, Desert Thunder MotorSports (DTM) a NASCAR Elite Division Southwest Series team based here in Phoenix has their show car on display proudly carrying the Napa Auto Parts Martin Senour paints Racing for the Missing Chevrolet colors in the lobby of a Bashas grocery store in Mesa, AZ.

In addition DTM`s partner agency the Nations Missing Children's Organization & Center for Missing Adults (NMCO) will be on hand Saturday afternoon transferring free digitally photographic images of our children to “Kids Id`s”

“We are concerned with your child's safety! The Nation's Missing Children Organization, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the safety of children and the recovery of those missing. When a child is lost, a photograph is key to a swift recovery. Educating your children and maintaining a current photograph could save your child's life!” - Kym Pasqualini / NMCO President

Kids Id`s are one of the many services the Center provides to our communities, this is the second consecutive year running this program a Bashas location, store director and crew member of the Racing for the Missing Chevy Russ Hammer has taken the Bashas "200" event promotion to a new level created additional awareness by utilizing one of Arizona's largest grocery stores as a setting to increase awareness & improve education of relating topics "Missing persons"

"A few of years ago Russ contacted us about displaying one of our cars in his store, yes inside the store unfortunately, we weren't able to assist that year but since then we have committed to this program in hopes of reaching additional people. He and his staff, and the entire Bashas family truly care about their community and we support them all the way, since that first call Russ has joined the team and has become a valued member of the race team" Said Darrell LaMoure driver of the Napa machine.

Saturday October 30, 2004 from 10:00am-2: 00pm Darrell and his partners will be on hand to sign autographs and provide the children in the area Kids Id`s The Id`s are free to the families sponsored by Bashas and NMCO.
