NICK LYNCH READY FOR A GOOD GRAND FINALE

When the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series Grand Finale blasts off Thursday, November 4 at Phoenix International Raceway, Nick Lynch and the Lynch Mob Motorsports crew will be ready to put their No. 29 Mr. Gas/Yerf-Dog Chevy right up in the thick of things.

"We ran at Phoenix earlier this year," says Lynch, "and I got aced out of a good finish. This time, we want to grab a top position. We've definitely had our share of bad luck recently and I would really like to end the season on a high note."

In his rookie year in the NASCAR Southwest Series, Lynch has struggled somewhat this season, but has definitely proven his behind the wheel talent. "We figured this first year was definitely a learning curve," says the 22-year old Burley, Idaho native. "Most of my previous racing experience was on my hometown track. "I ran some selected Southwest races, but pretty much put my racing career on hold until I graduated from Arizona State last year. We've definitely gained a lot of knowledge this season and I've gained a ton of experience. Hopefully, this time out at Phoenix will give us a chance to shine."

Lynch, who has run at Phoenix in the past, really enjoys racing at the 1-mile Valley of the Sun track. "It is one of my favorites," says Lynch with obvious enthusiasm. "It is a very challenging track and different than most of the tracks we run on. You definitely need a good handling car and good horsepower. There are 43 cars entered including cup-driver Ken Schrader and Busch driver Kyle Busch, so you know the racing is going to be really tough.

Keeping a clear head and really concentrating are going to be all-important. We know our Mr.Gas/Yerf-Dog Chevy is good, so the rest will be up to me. It's definitely going to be a good season finale."

Qualifying for the Cruise America 125 will take place on Wednesday, November 2 at 1:15 PM (PT) and race action will take place on Thursday, November 4 at 3:30 PM (PT).####
