AVONDALE, Arizona -- Eric Holmes and the entire BRE race team are looking foward to heading back to PIR. Winning the pole and race in October was a very impressive drive and a huge confidence builder for Eric. Comming back in November and finishing second showed that this team is for real, and can be contender at every race.
"Phoenix has kind of been a thore in my side, but we really turned our program around and have been running very well everywhere." Switching to Peters Frieght Train Racing Engines and bringing the young handsome Ty Joiner onto the team has proven to be a great combination. "Ty Joiner has determination to win, and has a very bright futur ahead of him." With the team having no changes in it for 2005 season, they look forward to an exciting year. Jason Fensler, Jim Brown, Robert White, Art Streeter, and Linda Hamiltonwill all return to be a part of the BRE racing team.
Phoenix will be the opening race for the 2005 season, and should draw competitors from all over the country. The return of the Copper World Classic will make for a very exiting race, because the fuel mileage and tires will not be a determining factor. "This is pretty much a sprint race, October my spotter kept trying to slow me down because we had such a big lead, he wanted me to save fuel."
"I dont count on having a fuel or tire issue, so this one is all out for 75 laps."
The BRE race team would like to thank all of thier sponsors, Paul Oil company, Tilbury Auto Parts, Wilwood Disc Brakes, Peters Race Engines, Victory Circle, Tilton, Peterson Oiling Systems, and Sunoco Race Fuels. For more information on Eric Holmes and the entire Beebe Racing team log on to
