
Montana native Justin Martz will be featured on the SPEED Channel’s popular Speed News program this weekend. The segment will trace the Martz family racing legacy from Governor Judy Martz’s days as Olympic Speedskater to Justin Martz’s journey from five time Montana State Motocross Champion to NASCAR competitor.
Martz entered the NASCAR arena in 2004 beginning the season competing in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His third time on the track, Martz raced to victory lane and in eight short weeks he compiled an impressive record that included 2 Super Late Model Feature Wins, 3 Top Five Finishes, 7 Top Ten Finishes and 2 Bud Pole Awards.
During the second half of the season, Justin concentrated his efforts on competing in the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Touring Series Southwest Division and captured the attention of not only SPEED Channel but of several top NASCAR teams.
The segment which includes interviews with Justin Martz and Governor Judy Martz at Phoenix International Raceway and video footage chronicling Justin’s racing career will air Sunday, February 6th at 7:00 pm, at midnight, and again on Monday at 8:00 am, and at noon. All times are Eastern time. Justin will also be featured again on SPEED Channel during Speed Weeks.
