RICH WOODLAND FINISHES 9TH IN SATURDAY'S FLAGSTAR ARCA 200 AT MICHIGAN

Concord, NC (June 12, 2000) -- Running a limited ARCA schedule this season, Rich Qualified the #7 Chevy Monte Carlo in first round, at a speed of 178.174 he took the 23rd position to start the Flagstar ARCA 200 at Michigan.

Rich Started 23rd, avoiding numerous wrecks, consistently climbed up through the field and stayed in the top 12 for the percentage of the race.

A caution came out in the final laps of the race, When the race went back to Green, Rich was in 12th position. Woodland race his Chevy passed several cars and took a 9th place finish! An excellent race!

Rich Woodland racing will compete in at least seven truck races and up to ten ARCA Bondo Mar-Hyde series races during the 2000 season. The next truck race will be July 22 Michigan Craftsman Truck 250 Brooklyn, MI. The next ARCA event will be July 2nd at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY.

Woodland Racing has encounter numerous Mechanical problems which have forced the Rich Woodland Racing team out of this season's race's prematurely.

Although there is some associate sponsorship in place, the team is still seeking primary sponsorship.####
